Best Bet

1. Trombolines

Turffontein R5 (2.25pm)

BET NOW

Trombolines should prove too good today. He comes off a very narrow second a month ago and has obviously please the De Kock stable to be running again today. He looked a better horse with the blinkers there and strikes the right race.

Recommended Price: $2.80
Confidence Level: 4/5

7. Calla Lagoon

Turffontein R6 (3.00pm)

BET NOW

Calla Lagoon looks a big price here. The blinkers went on last time and he responded with a strong dominant win. Naturally this is harder but he has come up a very attractive price.

Recommended Price: $10
Confidence Level: 3/5

4. Knowmore

Turffontein R9 (4.50pm)

BET NOW

Knowmore put the world on notice with a big run here last time out that he is ready to win. He loves it on this track, having won with two second placings from three attempts. Just needs even luck to be breaking through.

Recommended Price: $3.40
Confidence Level: 4/5
