There has been early money for Rifle Queen which isn’t surprising given how well she is placed against this field. She won both of her first two runs back in July/August then first up here her rider elected to take a solo path down the stand side while the rest of the field went to the inner. It set her a very hard task and she did well to run second. With a better ride she can win this comfortably.

Paris Fun put the writing on the wall for a good campaign ahead with an excellent run at Vaal last week and the filly must have pleased trainer Tony Peter through the week to be backing up so quickly. If she has come on at all from that she will take a lot of beating here.
